Server Administrator (MCSA)

The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) – Server Administrator. This course is now known as “Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate” (MCSA). It is a mid-level certification that covers the skills required to manage Windows Server 2016 operating system and network environment. Bypass one of the MCSA exams, the students will earn a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware,
    systems software, applications software, and all configurations.

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.

  • Design, configure and test computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.

  • Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.

  • Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems.

This course prepares the student for the following exams:

  • 70-740: Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016

  • 70-741: Networking with Windows Server 2016

  • 70-742: Identity with Windows Server 2016
