CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Students will learn how to install, configure and operate simple-routed LAN, routed WAN and switched LAN networks to increase bandwidth, improve response times and enhance reliability and quality of service. In addition, students will learn techniques that can save employers' time and money by reducing network downtime, addressing network security issues, and ensuring maximum network performance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to create new network design and ability to assess the network requirements and suggest recommendations based on the requirements to the management.

  • Co-ordinate, configure and Install network configurations, software etc. 

  • Configure switches, routers and make sure the cables are properly connected.

  • Ability to create back up strategies for the data and recovery plan for the network.

  • Develop designs with 100% Network security and ability to maximize the usage of equipment given by Cisco such as Routers,  Hubs, Switches. etc.

  • Monitoring of Networks and providing prompt support when issues arise.

  • Prepares Network Performance reports and current status.

  • Analyze traffic behaviors to great extent, troubleshoot and solve the issues.

  • Performance analysis, proper planning and testing of a network.

This course prepares the student for exam: Cisco CCNA 200-130
